Large internal batteries offer 23 minutes half load runtime and 7 minutes fully loaded. Runtime is expandable with optional BP24V28-2U (limit 1) and BP24V70-3U (multi-pack compatible) external battery packs. 3000VA/2400 watt power handling capability supports a variety of networking, telecom and other sensitive electronic applications. Includes 8 protected outlets. Supports remote monitoring of UPS and site power conditions via built-in RS-232 enabled monitoring port, plus standard UPS monitoring via 2 built in contact closure ports. Includes PowerAlert UPS monitoring and unattended shutdown software with complete cabling. Built-in audible alarm and front panel LEDs indicate line power, battery power, battery charge level, load level and voltage regulation status. Featuring advanced automatic voltage regulation, it provides regulated nominal 120 VAC output without using battery power during brownouts and overvoltages. Large internal batteries support connected equipment during blackouts, and runtime is expandable with optional external battery packs. Three DB9 communication ports support messaging of detailed UPS operational parameters and line power status plus direct monitoring of directly connected devices. Included PowerAlert UPS monitoring and unattended shutdown software provides management support for an unlimited number of network UPS systems.

Featuring eight outlets (4 x 5-15R, 4 x 5-15/20R) and three DB9 ports (one serial, two contact closure), the SMART3000NET offers a complete power protection solution for protection for servers, storage devices and telecom equipment.
Advanced Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
Advanced AVR protects connected equipment from incremental hardware damage, data loss and performance problems that can be caused by brownouts (low-voltage conditions) and overvoltages. The SMART3000NET can correct brownouts as low as 87V and overvoltages as high as 140V, providing safe computer-grade power to all connected components without consuming backup battery power needed to support equipment through blackouts.
Controllable Load Banks
The SMART3000NET features two single-outlet load banks that are individually controllable via a software interface for remote reboot of locked-up equipment or load shedding to maximize battery backup time for mission-critical equipment.
Reliable Battery Backup
UPS battery backup keeps connected equipment operational through short power failures, and provides time to save data and perform an orderly system shutdown in case of a prolonged blackout. The SMART3000NET features a large internal battery that provides 7 min. of battery support for a full load (2400 watts) and 23 min. for a half-load (1200 watts). During normal operation, incoming utility power keeps the UPS battery fully charged so that backup power will always be available if needed. Runtime is expandable with optional external battery packs (Tripp Lite model BP24V28-2U), sold separately.
Surge Suppression and EMI/RFI Line Noise Filtering
A sudden power surge or spike can damage or destroy electronic components and wipe out irreplaceable data. The SMART3000NET features a 480-joule surge suppression rating to protect connected components and data from the harmful effects of power surges. Various electrical and radio sources can cause disruptive interference on the AC line. This line noise is a common cause of incremental hardware damage, data corruption and audio/video performance problems. The SMART3000NET incorporates technology that filters out disruptive line noise, preventing it from affecting your equipment.

DB9 Ports and Included PowerAlert Software
The SMART3000NET features three DB9 ports: one serial and two contact closure. When used with Tripp Lite's included PowerAlert software, the serial port provides comprehensive network power monitoring and control. Capabilities include UPS and line power status messaging (on battery, low-battery, power restored, AC line voltage, DC battery voltage and remaining battery capacity), timed inverter shutoff after unattended shutdown, and UPS output power control for delayed or immediate reboot of connected devices. The two contact closure ports enable two directly connected devices, such as alarms and environmental sensors, to be simultaneously monitored.
Front-Panel LED Display and Alarm
The SMART30000NET features an array of five front-panel LEDs that show line power, battery power, AVR, overload and replace battery status. An audible alarm sounds to alert users to power failure, overload and low-battery conditions.
